It all started with a noise complaint from neighbors who long suspected the noise had something to do with dogfighting. Neighbors told News4Jax an animal control officer came out to the property to at one point investigate the complaint. He told News4Jax heโd done nothing wrong. He showed News4Jax a notice that he received in November after an animal control officer showed up to investigate noise complaints.

Two victims were found shot Thursday morning at a property off Firestone Road on Jacksonvilles Westside, police said. Another person was at the property and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. Investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office were awaiting a warrant Thursday morning to go onto the property, which was off Firestone Road, north of Morse Avenue. An officer at the scene said its unclear if the shooting was part of a robbery but both victims were shot multiple times.
