Christopher Caster, 18, was taken into custody Friday on charges of possession of a firearm on school property and carrying a concealed firearm. For now, the School Board is on a wait and see approach, it all depends on what the City Council does next. On Saturday, News4Jax learned the Trojans head coach was removed from his position. "I would like to continue as the head Football Coach to build on the tradition of Scholar Athletes at Jean Ribault High School," Smith wrote in the resignation letter dated July 16.
