The wrath of Hurricane Ian left Fort Myers Beach in shambles. More than a week later, search and rescue teams are still searching for and finding bodies.

Days after Hurricane Ian tore through the area, leaving many buildings reduced to rubble and an astounding number of people without homes, search and rescue teams are still looking for survivors and finding those who did not make it.

Fort Myers Beach is destroyed. The pain, suffering and destruction is indescribable.

Rescuers in the Turkish coastal city pulled Gezgin out alive from the rubble, some four days (91 hours) after a strong earthquake hit Turkey and Greece. The girl was taken into an ambulance, wrapped in a thermal blanket, amid the sounds of cheers and applause from rescue workers. Her rescue came a day after another 3-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were also pulled out alive from collapsed buildings in Izmir, Turkey's third-largest city.
