Saturday will be cooler with daytime highs only in the mid to upper 60s and low humidity.

March rainfall totals are impressive, 9-11″ across much of North Florida and South Georgia. Just since Wednesday, rainfall amounts have been 2-4″, enough such that the North Fork of Black Creek will reach flood stage later Friday.

Tornado Watches and Warnings issued Wednesday by the National Weather Service have expired for counties in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

Thanks to the passing cold front temperatures are more than 20+ degrees colder than yesterday.

Wednesday morning, fog will again be back, mostly inland Florida and west of the St. Johns River. Best part? The fog will burn off rapidly. Sunshine will become bright and temperatures will jump quickly through the 70s.

Sunshine will kick off Wednesday morning with hazy skies and warm steamy conditions. Morning temperatures will quickly jump into the low to mid 90s. Temperatures will not be quite as high as they were on Tuesday (we had a high 95° and feel-like high of 104°, super steamy). With nearly the same weather pattern, including heat, Wednesday afternoon will become rather busy on Exact Track 4D.

Happy Monday! We definitely started off the week on the warm side with afternoon highs in the upper 80s near 90 for most of us.

Happy Sunday! A few showers and thunderstorms are lingering across southern Flagler and Putnam County this morning but will clear out by mid morning.

Happy Fri-YAY! It was another warm but cloudy day across SE GA and NE FL with highs ranging from the mid 70s to the low 80s.

Through the rest of the day we can expect mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping into the low 60s after sunset. A warm front will lift north overnight into early Tuesday morning increasing our rain chances and warming us up a bit during the day. Rain chances sit at 70%. Tuesday night, the warm front moves away with diminishing rain chances, 20 percent. Our next cool down arrives Thursday with highs in the upper 60s low 70s.

Sunrise temperatures will be in the upper 50s inland, around 60° downtown and the Southside with area beaches starting off in the low 60s. Sunrise is at 7:24 a.m. and due to some high clouds, it could be fairly spectacular. During the typical heat of the day, mid-afternoon, say around 3 p.m. our temperatures will peak in the upper 80s along and west of I-95, to the mid-70s at area beaches. the cool sea breeze at area beaches will start to push onshore (westward) causing temperatures to cool back into the 60s. AdTomorrow evening will be beautiful, really pleasant as evening temperatures cool back into the 70s.

We’ll see a few clouds overnight with lows dropping into the mid to upper 50s, making for a mild start Monday morning. Monday will be another mostly sunny day with highs a little cooler in the upper 70s low 80s. Temperatures in the 80s and sunny skies will follow us through midweek. We’ll increase out cloud cover Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the low 80s. Thursday we’ll see out next cold front sink south brining isolated thunderstorms and leaving us seasonal in the upper 60s low 70s next weekend.

After a beautiful day our temperatures will quickly drop after sunset. Winds will be breezy out of the NE at 10-15 mph. Overnight lows will once again drop into the upper 30s low 40s so you’ll want that jacket Monday morning before heading out. Starting Monday we’ll fall into a repetitive pattern of sunny skies with highs climbing a few degrees each day. Monday will start off in the mid to low 60s and by Friday we’ll be close to 80°.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Thursday will start off much milder in the morning hours, you maybe surprised by the breezy, warm, with decreasing clouds during the day. But don’t be fooled by Mother Nature, as before midnight storms, maybe a severe one or two, will be from Valdosta to Waycross to Brunswick. Back in Jacksonville, Thursday evening temperatures will be in the 70s, even at night! AdSunday’s a tad better, waking up around 40° and breaking into the low 60s under partly cloudy skies. Next week looks MUCH more agreeable, with sunshine and mild temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It was a frosty Friday morning, as inland sunrise temperatures bottomed out at or just below freezing. Saturday morning will start off chilly, but not freezing cold, with sunrise temperatures in the 30s, 40s along area beaches. Sunshine will continue to dominate the early morning skies, yet as the day wears on, clouds will start to roll onshore. Sunrise temperatures another 10° milder, mostly in the 50s. Sunrise temperatures on Monday will be around 50° and afternoon highs will only be around 58°.

Showers continue to sweep east across NE FL this evening as a low pressure system bring moisture through the area ahead of our next cold front. These will be light to moderate showers moving in from the Gulf and leaving us with rainfall totals less than a quarter of an inch. We’ll start off the week with a few clouds and showers early Monday morning ahead of our next cold front. These light to moderate showers will fade by mid morning. Sunshine will return mid afternoon on Monday as the front passes and we’ll see highs in the low 60s.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Super sunshine and milder temperatures will make today (Thursday) a perfect “10” on the Gaughan Gauge. Early morning sunrise temperatures will start off in the low 50s inland to 60° along the coast. Sunshine reigns all day and day time highs reach back into the 80s. At the moment, it appears the highest chances with highest rainfall amounts will be along the Coastal and Southern counties. Rainfall amounts could be as much as an inch of rain, not a quick burst, but an on-off pattern that could last much of Sunday.

Sunrise temperatures will be around 75° and once again quickly warm into the upper 80s, where they will top out. Here’s more on the good, the bad and the ugly of the up coming nor’easter. Temperatures start out in the low 70s and only warm into the low 80s. We will still see 50% chances for showers, but cooler temperatures start out in the upper 60s and we only warm into upper 70s. Mornings will start in the 60s and warm into the upper 70s and low 80s with only an isolated chance for a shower.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The heat fueled some significant rains/storms around Waycross, Georgia Friday night. Watch for rip currents and keep safe during this Memorial Day weekend. Memorial Day will be breezier and not as hot, hitting the upper 80s during the afternoon. We have a 30% chance for an afternoon showers and a few more clouds in the sky. Tuesday through Friday will be not AS hot, topping out in the mid 80s with breezy conditions expected.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Cloudy skies with light mist and drizzle could spread across parts of southeast Georgia through mid morning as a weak front pushes east. Partly cloudy skies this afternoon and evening with slightly less than seasonal temperatures. Mainly dry with sunny skies and OPEN WINDOW friendly afternoon highs as an offshore wind pattern develops this week. Today: Becoming partly cloudy and cool. Wind WNW 5-10 mph.

(CNN) - As we rolled into November, scientists discovered last month was the warmest October on record globally. The European Union's Copernicus Climate Change Service, which analyzes temperature data from around the planet, said October 2019 was the warmest in their data record, which goes back to 1979. Last month narrowly edged out the previous record for October, set in 2015, by only 0.01 degrees Celsius (0.018 degrees Fahrenheit). This year has seen multiple other hottest-month records, including July, which Copernicus said was the warmest month of all on record, replacing the record set in July 2016. Every month in 2019 has ranked among the four warmest for the month in question.

This evening will be warm, with temperatures slowly sinking out of the 90s and down through the 80s. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s under clear skies. Friday starts out in the low 70s and warms up under partly cloudy skies quickly. Expect afternoon highs just a tad cooler, topping out in the low 90s instead of the mid 90s. We will wake up in the low 70s and warm into the upper 80s for an afternoon high.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - We've broken our record high temperature for today so far by hitting 96, topping our previous record of 94 set in 1961. We could still break the record, with a few more hours of sunshine and heat. Thursday will be sunny and hot, with record-challenging heat during the afternoon hours. Friday brings a tiny break in the heat, we will still see 90s, but not the record-challenging mid 90s. We will start out in the low 70s and warm up to an afternoon high of 88 under mostly sunny skies.
