JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is making it easier for people involved in crashes to get a copy of their crash report.
By going to www.BuyCrash.com, people can download and purchase a copy of their report instead of spending time and gas driving to the Sheriff's Office to get a copy.

"This is a convenience option that helps ease the burden and aggravation of being involved in a crash," said David Kaelin, president of Appriss, which makes the crash reports available. "It's especially helpful if you're from out of town and have an accident."
Appriss serves as the official state traffic safety vendor for Florida.
BuyCrash.com is one component of the Florida's Integrated Report Exchange System (FIRES) program. The program includes free software tools and services, and is available to all Florida law enforcement agencies to help them collect, file, retrieve and analyze crash reports.
