BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – An unidentified driver is dead following a crash on US 301 in Bradford County Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to authorities a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by an unidentified driver was traveling northbound on US-301 when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle crossed the center median entering the southbound lanes into the path of a 2006 Freightliner commercial truck. The truck was driven by Gregory Woodrow Brigham Jr. of Ocala, Florida.
The unidentified driver was pronounced dead on the scene, and Brigham was taken to Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
The FHP said, at one point Tuesday night, all southbound lanes were blocked. As of 8:00 p.m., the FHP said southbound traffic was being diverted around the scene.
