ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A pedestrian was struck by a St. Johns County work truck on U.S. 1 just south of International Golf Parkway about 8 a.m. Thursday.
The St. Johns County Fire-Rescue and deputies responded to the scene in the northbound lane at Stokes Landing Road. The pedestrian was flown to UF Health Jacksonville with life-threatening injuries.

Drivers were urged to used caution if traveling in the area as traffic delays will exist until the accident is investigated and cleared.
