STARKE, Fla. – Six people were injured, three seriously, in a nine-vehicle crash in Starke in Bradford County, just before 5 p.m. Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on U.S. 301 at Southeast 48th Avenue.

Troopers said Glen Roberts, 48, of Miami, was traveling north when he failed to stop at a traffic signal, resulting in a crash involving nine vehicles.
One of those vehicles, driven by Daniel Westling, 44, was pushed off the roadway into the grass. Westling was taken to UF Health Gainesville for serious injuries.
Another vehicle, driven by Ashley Horowitz, 28, was also hit and pushed into the side of a dump truck. Horotwitz was hospitalized in serious condition.
Six other vehicles were also damaged in the crash. Roberts was also taken to UF Health for serious injuries.
The current conditions of Roberts, Westling and Horowitz are unknown. Three other people were taken to area hospitals for evaluation.
The crash remains under investigation after state troopers interviewed several witnesses and tried to obtain video surveillance from the area. Lanes of U.S. 301 were closed for hours but have since reopened.
