COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 31-year-old Lake City man is dead following a bicycle crash in Columbia County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 39-year-old Lake City man was driving a sedan just after midnight Thursday, heading southbound on US-441, when he struck the man riding the bicycle.

FHP says the cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
The driver of the sedan was not injured.
