A motorcyclist died Tuesday morning in a crash with a vehicle on St. Johns Bluff Road northbound at I-295.
The motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man, was driving north in the left lane while the sedan involved was driving south, the Florida Highway Patrol said. According to FHP the car attempted to make a left turn in the path of the motorcycle, which slammed into the passenger side of the car.

The rider died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, according to the report.
The 61-year-old man from Winter Park who drove the sedan suffered minor injuries and it is unknown if he was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, which was reported around 5:35 a.m.
All northbound lanes of St. Johns Bluff Road were blocked, along with the right lane of the entrance ramp while emergency vehicles assessed the scene.
The roadway is currently all clear for drivers headed down I-295.
