It’s part of FDOT’s ongoing efforts to improve road safety across the state.
The new striping for the “no pass” zone is set to be installed on the southbound side of State Road A1A, covering a 1-mile stretch from the Guana Tolomato Matanzas South Beach Access to Yellow Bill Lane.
The installation is scheduled for the week of Jan. 13, 2025.
FDOT said the project aligns with its Target Zero statewide safety initiative, which aims to reduce fatalities and serious injuries on Florida’s roadways to zero.
