Woman killed in Baker County crash

MACCLENNY, Fla. –  A 32-year-old woman died overnight in a single car crash near Macclenny, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP investigators said the crash happened sometime about 3:30 a.m. on State Road 228, just south of I-10. The woman's 2007 Cadillac CTX was northbound when it left the road and crashed into a patch of trees.

The driver, from Glen St. Mary whose name has not been released, was the only person in the car. Troopers said she died at the scene.
