MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol reports a crash in Clay County killed 54-year-old Robert Hanson from Middleburg.
According to the FHP report, the accident happened on Nolan Road and Brangus Road around 6:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Hanson's Honda Civic was pushed into a ditch when a Toyota Tundra made a illegal pass on Nolan Rd. The driver and passenger in the Toyota were transported to St. Vincent's Health Care with non-life threatening injuries. Clay County Fire Rescue report Hanson died before making it to the hospital.
This crash remains under investigation.
