Man dies after officials find him unresponsive in Hyde Park parking lot, JSO says

The fatal crash is the 160th to occur in Duval County in 2024. JSO said that number is pacing behind 2023’s total of 175. Police say their traffic enforcement strategies have contributed to reducing traffic fatalities. With a few more days left in this year, they’re encouraging people to be safe on the road to prevent fatality numbers from increasing.
