Georgia DOT treats highways, bridges with brine ahead of dangerous winter storm; Jax crews on standby

The Georgia Department of Transportation is preparing for the extreme cold weather event by treating highways and bridges as counties brace for snow and ice expected to disrupt travel. The City of Jacksonville Public Works is working with the Florida Department of Transportation and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to prepare for the possible icy conditions.
