Women's History Month: Former prosecutor Angela Corey

Former State Attorney Angela Corey was born and raised in Jacksonville and attended Englewood High School. She received her law degree from the University of Florida and in 2008 became the first woman elected to the position of state attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit. Corey prosecuted George Zimmerman in the murder of Trayvon Martin and worked other high-profile cases, such as the murder of Jordan Davis and the Cristian Fernandez case.
