James Weldon Johnson Brews & BBQ back for 8th year

Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park joins with event sponsor Visit Jacksonville to present Brew & Barbecue this Fall on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 5 pm to 10 pm. Your favorite JWJ Park festival is back for year EIGHT and it’s going to be better than ever! As always, festival goers can expect plenty of barbecue themed food trucks including a vegan only food option; a wide range of beers to choose from; a plethora of vendors; and great music. This year’s musical lineup kicks off with The Souls of Joy - a Jacksonville based classic rock band and local jam-fusion luminaries returning for their second year in a row, the Parker Urban Band. The event is presented by Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park, family friendly, and free to attend. Limited seating will be available at this event; however, you are welcome to bring your own chair. Dogs are welcome too!
