Meet HGTV’s Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt at Jacksonville Home + Patio Show

Audiences know and love custom home designers Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt of HGTV’s 100 Day Dream Home. The design duo is known both for their witty banter and for designing and building perfect custom homes for their clients in just 100 days OR LESS.  Brian started working construction jobs in college and began flipping houses on his own after graduation. After the 2008 housing crash, Brian got back on his feet by opening a chain of fitness clubs before reconnecting with Mika — 10 years after they first met as juniors in high school – fun fact: did you know they sang together in choir? We may have to ask them for a little song today.  The Kleinschmidts have streamlined the entire process of homebuilding: from designing the house, to finding the lot, to making the countless little-but-important decisions that come with building a house. Mika guides clients through the process and design, while Brian oversees the builds.  Known as HGTV’s winningest competition couple, they’ve also conquered the Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge and Rock the Block. They also went head-to-head on the new HGTV series 100 Day Hotel Challenge.
