How the TPC Sawgrass grounds crew prepares for The Players Championship

Believe it or not - it takes an entire year for the TPC Sawgrass grounds crew to prepare for The Players Championship. The whole operation is led by director of golf course operations Jeff Plotts. He oversees 85 year-round staff members including 100 additional volunteers from around the world who help out just for tournament week.
