Florida Senate District 5 - Democratic Primary
The winning candidate will face Republican candidate Binod Kumar and a write-in candidate in the general election in November.

With more than 33,000 votes, State Rep. Tracie Davis won the Democratic Primary against her opponent -- Jacksonville City Councilman Reggie Gaffney. Both are running to replace Sen. Audrey Gibson, who was term limited.
Davis will face Republican candidate Binod Kumar and Patrick Cooper, a write-in candidate with no party affiliation, in the general election.
Florida House District 14 - Democratic Primary
The winning candidate will face only write-in opposition in the district's general election in November.

In the Florida House, District 14 stretches from Arlington to Downtown Jacksonville to the Northside. There were no incumbents in this race, and no Republicans signed up to run in the district.
Of the four Democrats who signed up to run, Kimberly Daniels won with more than 8,300 votes. Councilman Garrett Dennis came in second place.
Daniels will face Patrice Jones, a write-in candidate with no party affiliation, in the general election.
Florida House District 15 - Republican Primary
The winning candidate will run in the district's general election in November.

House District 15 covers Nassau County and the northern and western parts of Duval. There was no incumbent in this seat.
With nearly 15,000 votes, Dean Black won against his opponent Emily Nunez.
Black will face write-in candidate Jerry Steckloff, who has no party affiliation.

The winning candidate will face only write-in opposition in the district's general election in November.

House District 16 stretches from Jacksonville’s beaches over to the Regency area. It’s a three-way Republican primary with no incumbent.
Republican Kiyan Michael won with just shy of 9,900 votes.
Michael also faces only write-in opposition in the November general election.
Florida House District 17 - Republican Primary
The winning candidate will face Democratic candidate Michael Anderson in the district's general election in November.
