The last of six proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution in the 2024 election would repeal a portion of the state constitution regarding public financing for statewide campaigns. The public campaign finance matching funds program has been in effect since 1998.
The Florida Legislature placed the question on the ballot with a bill in this year’s session.
