JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – We are getting a break in the heat with the clouds and NE breeze today while some areas are getting another round of rain.
Pockets of rain will target areas mainly south of Jacksonville into this evening, especially between Gainesville and St. Augustine. Clay St. Johns and Flagler will pick up on the most rain while Georgia stays dry but warmer.

A stalled front over north central Florida will keep mostly cloudy skies around tonight with showers possible overnight mainly across our Florida zones.
Tropical moisture near this front will generate additional areas of rain mainly south of I-10 tomorrow.
Friday: Overcast to cloudy skies across northeast Florida, with increasing clouds through southeast Georgia with scattered showers, storms developing through the afternoon.
