Jack frost will nip South Georgia tonight

Another chilly start for Jacksonville

Mainly around Waycross, Georgia.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Monday morning saw lows drop to 40° at Jacksonville International Airport. Super clear skies will allow for evening temperatures to drop and fast. From the 70s to the 50s before 8pm.

By sunrise Tuesday morning, inland Georgia could see patchy frost on cars and grassy areas. Jacksonville will again see temperatures down in the low 40s, rather chilly.

The good news is that our Tuesday morning lows will be the coolest for the rest of the week.

We will see a little roller coaster over the next week as a series of weak cool fronts will slide through.

Daytime highs will be in the mid 70s to near 80.

Highlight to the week (for some early birds) will be a partial eclipse of the moon. This will take place Wednesday night, starting just after 1 am, maxing out just 4 am.

we will have more details soon!
