Mild local Nor’easter brings in the chill

But the real cold hits next week

Good Saturday under this partly cloudy, breezy day. We are feeling a minor local Nor’easter where coastal winds will gust to 25 mph. Temps will be cool in the evenings and mild during the daytime with highs in the 70°s.

An isolated shower is possible especially south of Jacksonville.

Sunday will see lighter winds, more sunshine and milder afternoon temps, perfect for the Jaguars game at 1 p.m. Afternoon temperatures will be in the mid-70s on Sunday, except at area beaches where onshore winds will bring in a little chill.

Monday will warm again into the 70s before a cold front moves in during the afternoon and sets up with a big chill Tuesday morning in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Highs only warm into the 50s Tuesday.

This sets up the coldest morning Wednesday with temps in the mid to upper 30s with frost inland.

Thanksgiving starts a mild uptrend with sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s.
