Frost was widespread reaching the local beaches and beyond down into central Florida. A perfect weather set-up made the frost so prevalent which included: calm winds, clear skies, freezing temperatures, and most importantly dew points within a degree or less of the actual air temperature. The air was saturated with moisture so as soon as temperatures cooled close to the dew point moisture settled on everything just after midnight last night.
For now, are seeing sunny skies today but behind another front Friday comes a blast of cold with the next potential for frost Saturday morning, but more likely Sunday with morning calm winds.
