After Wednesday’s storms, the rains aren’t done yet!

Not "loving it", just a "5".

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It was all good until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday when well west of Jacksonville, a single storm began to rotate, and within an hour, indications on Exact Track 4D showed a debris ball. Debris indicated by radar almost always suggests a tornado touched down.

It kicked off wild rounds of heavy and severe storms for Georgia. There were three tornado warnings, two showed likely debris signatures on Exact Track 4D. Debris signatures suggest that a tornado did touch down, even if it was brief.

Locally, in Jacksonville, just moderate thundershowers rolled through. They were non-severe, but very wet.

The wet continues as another band of thundershowers (these much weaker) will move through between now (8 pm and 10pm).

But wait! There will be more! And an upside-down temperature day as well!

Keep your umbrella at the ready as more rains return on Thursday. Along with chilly temperatures, making tomorrow a real “ugh” day.

Amounts will be heavier south of Jacksonville. Maybe another 1" by Friday morning.
