A lucky few may see showers, High risk of Rip Currents along our beaches

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with above seasonal temperatures.  Becoming breezy as the onshore flow returns.  The sea breeze could spark a shower or two near and along Highway 301 to I-75 late this afternoon, evening.

Today:  Partly cloudy and warm with showers possible inland, 20 percent.  Afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s inland, some may hit the low 90s.  An active seas breeze will develop, SE 10-15 mph, leading to sea breeze showers possible after 2pm near and along Highway 301 to I-75.  Mostly clear to partly cloudy overnight with patchy fog.

Tuesday:  Partly cloudy and warm with afternoon showers possible.  Near seasonal morning temperatures will start the day with 60s widespread.  Partly cloudy with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s, a few 90s, inland, low 80s along the beaches. A weaker sea breeze could allow showers to form from High 301 to the beaches, 20 percent.

Looking ahead:  Showers possible late Tuesday, early Wednesday.  Cooler temperatures Wednesday through the end of the week.

Rip Current risk: High, as the onshore flow continues.
