Rain and storms have backed down today as much of the area is dealing with extra heat and drier air. Isolated storms will quickly move through this afternoon with a 20% chance for rain.
Some evening storms are more likely over St. Johns and southern Georgia. Whale Jacksonville sees mostly dry conditions.

Temperatures in the mid 90s drop into the upper 80s by 7 pm with overnight lows in the mid 70s.
Tomorrow’s highs reach the low 90s with a larger build up of storms in the afternoon and evening. Rain will cover many more areas with some slow-moving downpours.
The wet pattern will stay with us Friday and into the weekend.
