Scattered showers and storms ahead for Saturday

Showers have been persistent is southern areas this evening, and the highest chance for rain will be south of Jacksonville this evening. Temperatures will fall into the 70s.

A few coastal showers once again will be possible overnight, with morning lows in the low 70s.

More moisture moves in to start the weekend Saturday. This will bring higher rain and storm chances to Northeast Florida, with Southeast Georgia staying mostly dry. Highs to start the weekend will be in the mid 80s.

Slightly drier air is on the way for Sunday. Some scattered activity is possible during the day, but it still looks like most of the Jags game will be dry. Highs will be back in the mid 80s.

We really dry out next week, as significantly drier air marches into the area. Just a few showers are expected Monday, with temperatures in the upper 80s.

Even drier weather is expected for most of next week, with just a few coastal showers and highs climbing into the upper 80s.
