The heat is cooking us in the upper 80s to near 90 this afternoon as we wait for some showers to pop up into the early evening. Scattered storms will develop over inland NE FL which should track back to the south-southeast into the coastal counties early this evening.
Tonight will turn mostly clear and mild with lows in the upper 60s and patchy late-night fog by morning.
If you miss out on the few showers today another chance comes tomorrow with mainly inland coverage of storms and showers.
A cold front will boost the rain chances Wednesday with more afternoon storms Thursday before drier air returns by the end of the week and lasts through Mother’s Day weekend.
