Today will be warm and rather dry with mostly sunny skies at the beach with partly cloudy conditions inland. Less moisture in the atmosphere will make rain unlikely around the metro areas as the afternoon sea breeze keeps most of the I-95 corridor dry. Isolated storms, 20%, will target areas west of U.S. Highway 301 from southeast GA down toward the Suwannee Valley in northern FL and toward I-75.
The onshore breeze holds afternoon coastal highs in the mid-80s with hot 90s west of the St. Johns River.
A weak cold front pushing south over Georgia this evening will generate scattered showers there with spotty early morning showers possibly Monday around Duval and Nassau counties.
Lows reach the mid 60s inland, ranging to the upper 60s to around 70 at coastal locations.
Just a few showers and storms Monday are expected near and west of the I-75 corridor with warm mid 80s to upper 80s
