Scattered storms this evening, more active weather ahead

Tuesday evening forecast

It’s been a very warm Tuesday and scattered showers and storms will continue to develop. The highest chance for storms will be along and north of the I-10 corridor. Some storms may be strong in Georgia, with temps this evening falling into the 70s.

The rain and storms will fade away late this evening into the overnight. A few clouds will remain towards daybreak, with temps in the low 70s.

More unsettled weather is on the way for Wednesday. Scattered showers and storms are expected in the PM hours, with some storms being strong to severe. The highest chance for storms once again will be along and north of I-10, with highs in the mid 90s.

The threat for rain and storms continues Thursday. Scattered activity will again develop, with once again strong storms possible. Temps for Thursday will be in the low 90s.

Lower storm chances are ahead for Friday, with some areas staying dry. Highs to close out the week will be in the low 90s.

It does looks active for Father’s Day weekend, with PM rain and storms likely both Saturday and Sunday.
