T’Storm Watch continues for parts of the area until 6 p.m.

Thursday evening forecast

A Severe T’Storm Watch continues for most of SE Georgia and parts of NE Florida, including Jacksonville, until 6 p.m.

Strong to even severe storms remain possible late this afternoon into the early evening, with heavy rain and flooding also a concern. Temps will fall into the 70s.

The storms will exit by mid-evening, with another round possible overnight tonight. Once again, some storms may be strong, with lows in the low 70s.

More unsettled weather is ahead for Friday. We should see some dry weather in the morning, with storms developing in the PM hours. Some storms may again be strong, with temps in the upper 80s.

A more typical summertime weather pattern returns for Saturday. Showers and storms should off until the PM hours, with activity mainly driven by the seabreeze. Highs for Saturday will be in the upper 80s.

It now looks like Father’s Day will be slightly drier, with just scattered PM activity expected. Temps for Dad’s day will be in the low 90s.
