Cloudy skies with showers south of I-10, more to come Thursday

Cloudy skies with light rain and showers developing ahead of an approaching cold front tonight and then the front will push through tomorrow with scattered showers possible through early evening.  Sunny skies and a wardrobe change are on the way this weekend.  A brisk breeze with less than average temperatures with morning frost and freezing temperatures expected.

Now:  Cloudy and cool with showers along our southern Counties..

Tonight:  Cloudy, with fog, light rain.

Thursday:  Cloudy and cooler with afternoon showers, 20-30 percent.  Rain chances will pick up around 11 a.m. to noon and continue through 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Morning lows in the 50s.  Afternoon highs in the low 60s.  Wind SW 5 - 10 mph.  Clearing skies and cooler temperatures overnight.

Hazards:  Minor flooding continues along the St. Marys and Santa Fe Rivers.  Rip Currents through Thursday.  Freeze/Frost for inland areas this weekend and the start of the New Year.

Looking ahead:  Sunny skies with cold, clear nights for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
