JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The weekend is almost upon us! I’m forecasting a wet Saturday, but Sunday looks better for your brunch plans!
Speaking of plans — here are some things I found that might appeal to you and your friends or families!
First off, have you ever been to the Colors of the Wild: Zoolights? It looks so fun! (You can also win a family 4-Pack to go by entering our Insider Sweepstakes here!) I can’t wait to check it out! It runs until Feb.18!
From what I’ve read, it seems like magic. The Zoo can be seen in a way you’ve never seen before, with all of the beautiful lanterns, wildlife, and wild sites! The Asian lanterns resemble animals and plants with more than 70 displays throughout the Zoo. Each lantern is completely custom-made, and brings out a story discussing the importance of conservation and illuminating the night with a festive glow!
NEXT UP is the BarrelTop Burlesque! This takes place tomorrow night- and is a great idea for a date night for anyone 21 and up out there! Think whiskey, contortion, sideshow & burlesque! It’s bound to be a show to remember! The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the first begins at 8 p.m.! You’ll need your ID to get in.
AND, Are you into Hockey?? I totally go for the fights on the ice!
Jacksonville Icemen vs. Savannah Ghost Pirates happens Friday night at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena!! Don’t miss out!

This weekend, for me, will consist of a party for my Youth Group at Church, followed by a cookout with my friends and maybe the hockey game tomorrow night!
