A quick moving cold front and squall line will push through the area this afternoon with the worst of the weather expected between noon and 6 p.m.

Damaging wind, Tornadoes and hail will be possible.

Morning lows in the 50s. Afternoon highs in the 70s.

Wind SW 20-25 mph with gusts of 40 mph plus. Breezy and clearing late tonight.

Storm Timeline:

Sunrise through 11 a.m.: Scattered showers, storms.

12 p.m. - 2 p.m.: Lake City to Waycross

2 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Gainesville to Brunswick, I-75, I-10 and I-95.

4 p.m. - 6 p.m. I-95 to the beaches.

6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Front moves offshore, scattered showers slowly end.

Hazards: Squall line with strong to severe storms that will include wind, hail and the possibility of tornadoes.

Looking ahead: Cooler temperatures behind the front with another rain producing front expected Friday.
