A break in the rain but not for long

Friday brings increasing rain

.

Our brief pause in the rain will end as the weather turns wet Friday afternoon and evening. Not much going on tonight without any showers until after midnight. Early morning light showers will lift northward under mostly skies on Friday.

Showers and storms increase in the afternoon behind a warm front that puts temps in the 70s for NE Florida and SE Georgia.

It will get breezy with SW winds gusting to 20-30 mph in the afternoon.  Some thunderstorms may be strong with a slight risk for isolated severe storms from 4-7 pm.

The rain ends by the evening with dry air arriving this weekend. It turns sharply colder Saturday in the 50s during the day with lower 30s late Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
