Light to moderate rain will remain for the weekend as a cold front brings cooler and drier air before a warm-up at the end of the week. Rain will impact Southeast Georgia to Northeast Florida, including inland counties.
Saturday evening temperatures will drop into the upper 40s and low 50s with winds from the north and northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Cloudy skies remain along with rain overnight. Rain accumulation is expected to increase into the evening.
Sunday morning temperatures begin in the upper 40s and low 50s with cloudy skies, rain, and winds from the northeast at 8 to 11 miles per hour at the warmest part of the day. Gusts will make for a breezy day ranging from 15 to 20 miles per hour.
LOOKING AHEAD: You’ll be able to enjoy the holiday on Monday without rain. A drier air moves in behind the cold front and sunshine returns with slightly below average temperatures. Rain could return for the weekend.
