The focus will be north of I-10

. (.)

Cloudy skies with a few showers possible tonight and then the active weather moves in. Saturday will be an Impact Day due to possible severe storms with a focus over southeast Georgia.

The Weather Authority continues monitoring the Saturday forecast as strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible, generally north of I-10 and across SE GA.

Sunday will see clearing skies after some early morning showers. This will lead to a cool start to The Players and Spring Break.

On Saturday, expect cloudy and breezy conditions with scattered thunderstorms developing around noon in SE GA then spreading south of the state line during the evening, 60-80 percent.

Near record highs tomorrow could aid in the development of storms. The wind will be from the southwest at 15-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Clearing Sunday afternoon with a northwest breeze. Cooler temperatures to start the week.

Timeline: Storms arrive in SE GA 10 a.m. to Noon. These will continue to spread south reaching the FL/GA line around 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. The front will continue to push across northeast Florida through around 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. with showers ending after midnight.
