The heat is on today as temperatures continue to rise. By late afternoon, we’ll be in the 80s for most of the inland areas, mid 70s at the beaches. Don’t skimp on the sunscreen if you’re going to be outside at THE PLAYERS Championship or enjoying spring break.
Tonight: temperatures will dip into the high 60s once the sun sets at 7:34 p.m.
Friday morning: not as cool as it was today. Plan for lows in the upper 50s to low 60s at the beaches.
Friday: scattered showers with heavy downpours at times could affect your afternoon in SE Georgia and along the I-10 corridor. High temperatures are again above normal, reaching the upper 80s inland, low 80s at the beaches. Light winds out of the southwest.
Looking ahead to the weekend: scattered showers stay in the forecast, mostly inland. Highs stay warm in the 80s.
Pollen: Weeds, oak, pine and juniper are high. Plan your outdoor activities accordingly!
