A Chilly start to Spring and Spring Break

Spring Break Forecast

. (.)

This weekend my car collected about 2 inches of pollen. Today, Mother Nature rinsed it away. Scattered showers with thunderstorms will continue across northeast Florida through around 5 p.m. followed by clearing skies, with breezy and cooler temperatures overnight. It will be a chilly start to Spring with below normal highs. Seasonal temperatures return on Wednesday and continue through the rest of the week. If spring showers bring the May flowers, then get ready for more blooms and blossoms as rain returns Friday.

Happy Spring and Spring Break! Spring officially starts just after 11 p.m. It will be a chilly start with frost possible in wind sheltered areas for SE GA, lows in the 30s and 40s. Windchill values will be near freezing for inland SE GA. Slightly warmer for NE FL with lows mainly in the 40s with a few upper 30s west of Highway 301. Sunny skies and afternoon highs in the 60s inland, 50s to low 60s along the beaches. Wind NNW 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Wednesday and Thursday will be warm under partly cloudy skies. Clouds will increase late Thursday night.

Scattered showers and storms are expected through the day Friday and early Saturday morning.

Have a great Spring break
