Near record highs followed by scattered showers and storms

Midweek storms, cooler weekend

. (.)

It is a beautiful start to the week. Flowers are basking in the sun and will continue tomorrow with near record highs. Scattered showers and storms return Wednesday as Mother Nature waters all of the new leaves and buds. Sunny skies and cooler temperatures will wrap up the week.

Partly cloudy skies and patchy fog early Tuesday followed by a warm afternoon with near record highs. Morning lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s along the beaches with mid to upper 80s inland. Increasing clouds overnight.

Increasing rain chances between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday with a 70-90 percent chance you and your plants get wet. Locally heavy rainfall is possible with thunderstorms likely as the cold front pushes through. Showers will begin to fade before sunset.

Open Window Weather slips in behind the front with cooler temperatures under sunny skies.
