It is a warm and hazy start to the week as many prepared for the solar eclipse. The peak time was around 3:05 p.m. The hazy skies did not hamper our view, especially with the right glasses or gear.
Temperatures will hover around our seasonal trends through the week with increasing rain chances Thursday. Breezy conditions will continue with these warm afternoon highs.
Tuesday and Wednesday will see mild morning lows with patchy fog, followed by partly cloudy skies with 70s and 80s. The breeze will help keep the afternoon highs in check with wind from the southeast at 15-20 mph.
Thursday will be the day to watch as strong to severe storms will be possible from late morning through late afternoon. Current models have the active weather starting around 8 a.m. and continuing through 6 - 8 p.m.
