The weekend is around the corner and yes, there is a chance of showers and storms Saturday and Cinco de Mayo. Let’s get you ready for the weekend.

Saturday: Mostly clear early with patchy fog. Becoming partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with sea breeze showers and storms. Rain chances will increase after 2 p.m. Morning lows in 60s to low 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s inland, upper 70s to low 80s along the beaches. Wind SE 10-15 mph. Rain chances, 20 percent.

Sunday: Partly cloudy skies with rain chances developing earlier. Scattered showers will be possible from around 10 a.m. through sunset, 30-40 percent. A warm start with patchy fog, lows in the 60s to low 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s to low 90s inland, upper 70s to low 80s along the sandy shores. Wind: SE 10-15 mph.

Next week will start with scattered showers with storms on Monday followed by a HOT workweek with near record highs.
