JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Springlike weather sticks around Sunday as temperatures stay in the average range.
You can expect highs around the region to top out in the mid-to-upper 80s under partly cloudy skies and breezy winds out of the ESE 10-15 mph.
Possible showers/thunderstorm development later this afternoon, mostly inland near the I-75 corridor once the sea breeze fronts converge along with the heat of the day. We’re not expecting these afternoon pop-ups to be severe.
Tonight: temperatures will drop into the upper 70s after sunset at 8:25 p.m. Wind and rain chances decrease overnight.
Monday: scattered showers are possible in the morning with thunderstorm potential to develop by mid-afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s.
