Isolated storms for the weekend

Rain chances remain into the work week

MARINE WARNING UNTIL 9:15 PM

The marine warning is in effect until 9:15 PM off the coast from Fort George Island to Ponte Vedra.

Thunderstorms and heavy downpours are persistent.

FLOOD ADVISORY UNTIL 9:45 PM:

The flood advisory is in effect for NW Duval County until 9:45 PM due to heavy downpours.

The area includes:

North near I-295 near Pickettville, east to the St Johns River, south to Ortega and west to Lenox Avenue.

A low pressure system in the Atlantic no longer has a chance of developing into a tropical cyclone.

However, rain is still coming for the next two days. Higher chances for today than Sunday. Accumulation will be near a tenth to half an inch for some areas.

Counties along I-95 and the coast will get the majority of isolated rain.

Temperatures will peak into the low 90s, and the overnight temperatures will be in the mid 70s

Cloudy skies will remain while rain is isolated.

Isolated light to moderate rain is possible for the rest of the day and evening for SE GA and NE FL.

BEACHES: Rip current risk remain moderate.
