Weekend isolated thunderstorms remain for the afternoon and evening

Keep an umbrella with you for your evening plans. Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida will have isolated storms from until the early evening.

Please anticipate some heavy downpours and gusts of approximately 30 to 40 miles per hour for short period of time during storms today.

Temperatures will drop in some areas where there are storms.

TONIGHT: Overall temperatures will drop into the low 80s with winds coming from the southeast. Clouds will remain for the afternoon and then clear out late evening. Humidity will remain.

LOOKING AHEAD: Temperatures will begin in the upper 70s and low 80s with light winds from the south and partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will peak into the 90s with feels like temperatures in the triple digits and many counties.

Isolated rain will continue for Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida. The peak time for thunderstorms will be between 2 and 8 pm.

Rain accumulation will be approximately a tenth to a quarter of an inch overall.

Tracking the Tropics: Hurricane Beryl is NOT expected to have any direct impact on Florida. Its current track is toward the Leeward Islands and then heading towards Jamaica
