JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A cluster of thunderstorms continues near I-75, west of Lake City. A few showers will be possible overnight under partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Patchy fog possible in areas that received rain today.

Now: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, mainly dry.

Tonight: Showers possible overnight, patchy fog.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies early then becoming cloudy with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms, 50-70 percent. Lows in the 70s to low 80s. Afternoon highs in the 90s inland upper 80s to low 90s along the beaches. Wind S/SE 5-10 mph.

Looking ahead: A hot week with daily rounds of soaking rainfall.

Tropics: Tracking Hurricane Beryl. The other area in the Atlantic is not looking good. Chances of development are down to 10/20 percent in the next 2/7 days.
