Slightly above average hot temperatures, triple digit heat index

Afternoon rain remains for the work week

Summer time temperatures are typically in the low 90s, but those temperatures will be slightly above average throughout the week. We have a warm evening ahead of us. Saturday evening temperatures will drop into the upper 80s, with winds from the south and partly cloudy skies.

Sunday morning temperatures will begin in the upper 70s with light winds from the south and southwest with partly cloudy skies.

Sunday afternoon temperatures will peak into in the low 90s with the feels like temperature in the triple digits. Winds will gusts in the teens during the early afternoon when storms are most prevalent. Rain is possible early afternoon until around sunset. This pattern will continue into the work week.
