Tuesday’s triple digit Heat Index and scattered storms

Cloudy as light shower activity continues over the River City.  Soaking rainfall for some while other baked in the heat.  Widely scattered showers and storms continue tomorrow with temperatures feeling like the triple digits.

Tonight:  Light showers, cloudy skies.

Tuesday:  Scattered showers with storms will get an early start with the Gulf Coast sea breeze, 60-70 percent.  Above average temperatures continue.  Morning lows in the 70s to low 80s.  Afternoon highs in the 90s, Feels like temperatures up to 110 degrees.  Locally heavy rainfall possible.

Looking ahead:  The Gulf Coast breeze will be our rain delivery system all week long.

Tropics:  Quiet for now.
